Prosacon provides consultancy service to manufacturers and importers of chemicals. |

Manufacturers and importers are obliged to register their substances within the phase-in periods if they do not want to discontinue their activities. The effort and time needed for registration depend primarily on the volume of the substance per company. In case of substances of very high concern REACH requires an authorisation. Prosacon offers to support your analysis of your product portfolio and to develop a strategy for the implementation of REACH. Prosacon may furthermore support you during subsequent years when registering your substances and preparing Chemical Safety Reports. Prosacon may represent you in SIEFs and consortia discussions as is foreseen under Article 4 of REACH. In such a case your company's name will not be disclosed, and it will not be visible to your competitors what substances you are interested in. >>more (so far only in German) |
Formulators, so-called downstream users under REACH, will be dependent on their suppliers, whether and how they register the substance they supply. In this respect, not only the registration as such is essential but also the identified uses and the conditions of use.
Prosacon offers consultancy service to all branches of industry and trade. We have special experience in colorants and their formulating industries such as plastics or coating industries.
Please be careful. In the event that you are a formulating downstream user but import chemicals from outside the European Union you still need to fulfil all the obligations of an importer.
Importers of articles need to take care if the imported articles contain substances of very high concern in a concentration of more than 0.1%. They should also know that consumers have more rights for information under REACH than previously. Prosacon offers to support you in finding out what actions are needed. >>back >>next
